Some of Alina's excuses for not being able to do her school this morning (aside from having a cold):
"I'm as tired as a tired wolf that came back from the stream!"
Me: What stream?
"The one he'd fallen into!"
A few seconds later:
"I'm as tired as a bear that fell into a stream and can't swim!"
Me: A bear? Bears swim!
"I mean a bear cub!"
