Yep, it's Alina's 6th birthday today (OMG!!!) and she is as happy as can be! We gave her her presents this morning (no animals, heh) and one of them was a pretty pair of sandals (more "older girlish") which she loved. She tried them on and hasn't taken them off yet, heh.
Last week Gabriel provisioned tickets to an amusement park so the kids, the teens, and some of Alina's friends will be going later this afternoon. Naturally, Laura will tag along ... we'll see if there are any rides for her age/size.
We usually have a birthday party, but this year I highly doubt that will happen. We have too many things happening (all our weekends are taken up), and so maybe we'll just make a cake and etc. for her and Kalen one of these Sundays ... sigh. At least she's fine with that because that way she'll have 2 birthday celebrations.
Anyway, gotta run and get the monkeys ready for their special outing.
