A few nights ago after praying for the night with her, she exclaimed: "I'm so glad I have Laura! I couldn't live without her!"
There was a sports magazine lying around with a picture of a 92-year-old brazilian swimmer in the water with a swimming cap. Alina glanced at the picture and then asked: "What is that? A turtle?"
A poem she wrote on Tuesday, the 9th:
Can't you see?
Can't you hear?
God is near!
Today, after telling her that we're most probably going to spend a week at the beach in July (she was about to take a shower): "Oh Mommy, as soon as I'm done and dressed all warmly, can we walk around the house, you know, to talk about all the things we're going to do at the beach?"
