Europe Trip Part 3: Brighton

 So, we made it to Brighton, as planned, after almost missing the train by 3 seconds. Thanks to the train from Glasgow taking an extra 40 minutes to get to London, we found ourselves rushing through Euston Station to get the tube to Victoria Station and then lugging our suitcases, bags, and what-not up a few flights of stairs to the train platforms. We literally jumped on the train as the doors were closing. Phew!

We arrived in Brighton to a glorious, sunny afternoon, checked into the hotel, and then went for a walk on the beach. It's a really great place! Aside from all the seagulls, heh.

We went to a couple of museums and galleries, enjoyed strolling through a flea market and the Brighton Pier, and tried several different types of cuisine. I watched the Brazil vs. Colombia game at a bar and had fun hanging out with some college grads and a Hells Angel. :D
