Festa Junina is my favorite celebration of the year ... after Christmas. And Easter. Alina's school held one on Saturday and we had loads of fun. Aside from all the delicious typical foods that were served, what was special about this one was that it was the first time Alina danced the traditional "quadrilha" dance along with her classmates. God knows why the teachers paired her up with a short fellow, but it ended up being pretty funny.

After filming the whole dance (15 minutes), the battery of my camera died so I wasn't able to take pictures of the rest of the party, the goodies, and the beautifully decorated school grounds ... sigh.
