The Weekend

I always look forward to the weekend. Don't know why. Maybe it's because it means that it's almost a new week. Or perhaps it's because that's when funner things are more likely to happen. 

This weekend was fine enough. We went out busking Friday night and that went very well, in spite the fact that the restaurants were quite empty due to it being another useless holiday. 

Saturday was my day off and that was a good day. We ended it with a little barbecue to celebrate the Duck's birthday (Miche). We also had Bible school and English class at our social project.

It's been soooooooooooo cold these past few days. I wanted to take the girls to the zoo today, but the sky was overcast and it looked like it was going to rain any time. Sometimes our weekends are busier than during the week. 

For example, this month, aside from our regular busking and Project activities such as Bible school, birthday party, computer and English classes, etc., we'll be having another gourmet dinner, a one-day retreat, and a 2-day camp for pre-teens (which I'm helping to plan and organize). Work, work, work, it never ends! What joy!
