Sickiepoo

We took Alina to the doctor yesterday for a check-up. She still has to take the antibiotics and rest, but she's out of the danger zone. She had double pneumonia, which was quite a scare, but she's getting better and stronger with each passing day. Thank God!

The doctor measured her on her first visit and she's off the charts for her age. 1,23m tall at 5 years and 4 months of age. She lost quite a bit of weight due to her loss of appetite, but hopefully she'll regain what she lost soon enough.
 
Also, due to her sickness, she hasn't done much school and I was kind of worried that she'd forget some things. She's been faithfully practicing her cursive though, and her handwriting is getting quite nice. Thankfully, she didn't forget how to add or subtract (3 digits). She is just lazy now and doesn't like to have to borrow or carry. :)

Anyway, here she is sick in bed but still as happy as always:
